Man shoots woman, self

FARIDABAD: A man killed a woman and then shot himself in Ballabhgarh in Faridabad district, police said on Tuesday. According to the complaint filed by Ramchandra, a resident of Raghubir Colony in Ballabgarh, his daughter Kajal (28) was shot by Ajju, a regular visitor to the house, and his young granddaughter Gudia witnessed the incident. Ramchandra had rushed to the house to find the pair dead.
Gudia said that Ajju used to visit her mother Kajal frequently. On Monday evening, he arrived at the house and talked to Kajal after which she asked her three children to go out. Ajju then locked the main door and shot Kajal before turning the gun on himself. A case has been registered. Kajal’s second husband is a ragpicker. The possibility of an extramarital affair leading to the murder has not been ruled out, police said.
